工作内容为：

基于病人的电子病历数据预测并提升医疗效果。具体内容包括：针对研究问题提出解决方案；将概念和算法转化为代码；准备、清理并汇总数据；设计并进行实验；分析数据及实验结果；与研究合作者对接；并在顶会/期刊发表论文。新加坡国立大学计算机学院2021 QS世界排名第四，学术氛围自由包容，涉足多个相关研究领域的前沿研究。本工作具有极大的潜力，有望给新加坡乃至世界范围的病人带去福祉。

希望申请者：

* 熟悉深度学习和机器学习算法；

* 在相关领域有较好的论文发表成果；

* 扎实的编程基础，熟悉Python、深度学习package (e.g.,Pytorch), 以及SQL;

* 良好的书面和口头交流能力；

* 可以独立并主动工作；

* 若有healthcare领域相关的工作经验将优先考虑；

* 有相关领域的博士学位（computer science, statistics, engineering, information systems, mathematics, etc.）

Research Fellow (Computational Healthcare)

National University of Singapore

Description:

The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Fellow (1-year contract) in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics (www.comp.nus.edu.sg/about/depts/disa), School of Computing (SoC). SoC is strongly committed to research excellence in all dimensions. The ideal candidate should be available on July 1 or earlier.

As a Research Fellow, you will work on electronic medical records of patients with the goal of forecasting and improving healthcare outcomes. Your scope of work includes:  proposing solutions to research problems; converting conceptual and algorithmic solutions into code; preparing, cleaning, and aggregating data; designing and running experiments; analyzing data and experimental results with scientific methods; interfacing with research collaborators; and publishing research outcomes in top-tier conferences/journals. This position has strong potential to improve the well-being of patients in Singapore and the world at large. Job requirements:  

* Competent in deep learning and machine learning algorithms.

* A good track record of scientific publications in relevant fields.

* Strong programming skills in Python, deep learning packages (e.g., PyTorch), and SQL.

* Good written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and proactively.

* Research experience in healthcare projects will be advantageous.

* PhD degree in a relevant area (computer science, statistics, engineering, information systems, mathematics, etc.). Compensation is commensurate with qualification and experience.
